Responsibilities:

Project Management:
• Oversee and manage sewer and water treatment construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
Estimating:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for sewer and water treatment construction projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine material and labor requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and quotes.
• Develop and present competitive bids to clients.
• Continuously update and refine estimating processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Office Management:
• Manage day-to-day office operations during the off-season (approximately six months).
• Oversee administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
• Implement and maintain office procedures and policies to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Support HR functions, such as onboarding new employees and managing payroll.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sewer and water treatment construction.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in estimating and cost analysis.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hands-on approach and willingness to be involved in both office and fieldwork.
Knowledge of relevant software and tools for project management and estimating.

Working Conditions:

Approximately six months of the year will be spent in the office during the off-season. The remaining six months will involve a combination of office work and site visits, with a primary focus on office responsibilities. This role does not involve trucking or earth-moving tasks.
