Sales Assistant Position
About us
Cushman & Wakefield Edmonton is seeking a highly motivated person to come join our 2-3 year Sales Assistant program. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting his/her mentors' duties related to the selling, leasing, and marketing of commercial real estate properties as well as regular day-to-day duties. The primary objective is to proactively support all functions of their mentor's activities in commercial real estate, identify business opportunities and establish relationships to generate business. After completion of the program, the selected candidate will have the tools required to generate their own business and begin their venture as a Sales Associate in the Commercial sector.
Job Summary:
• Recognize and solicit business opportunities from existing clients.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients or prospective clients about real estate investment methods, properties, levels of risk, projected economic conditions and expected market demands.
• Assist clients in selling properties by establishing the asking price, advertising the property, listing the property, and conducting tours for prospective buyers/tenants.
• Drive new business development through prospecting including networking and 'cold calling'.
• Other duties as required.
Requirements:
• Ability to obtain a valid Real Estate License (existing license is an asset)
• A valid driver's license and fully insured automobile is required.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Experience in the commercial real estate sector or a related industry is considered a strong asset.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
