JOB INFORMATION:

- Role Responsibilities

Our end client a Defence Department, is seeking Quality Assurance Specialist's for a variety of multi-year projects.

Security Clearance:

Resource must possess or be eligible for government of Canada Secret Level clearance (10 years as a Canadian resident to be found eligible)

Technical Criteria:

• Execute or draft quality assurance and control test plans, test scripts and test data

• Participate in functional and technical design reviews, perform integration/functional and system testing, and verify test results.

• Identify and document software defects.

• Participate with other project resources to resolve defects.

• Draft and develop software quality reports.

• Perform regression testing of software applications.

Scoring Methodology:

10 pts: 6 years of experience in 4 of the above criteria

8 pts: 4 years of experience in 4 of the above criteria

6 pts: 2 years of experience in 3 of the above criteria

• Experience preparing technical definition studies, option analysis, technical test documentation, and training materials

Scoring Methodology:

2 pts: 6 years

1 pt: 4 years

*Mandatory 2 years of experience for all level of resources

• Walkthrough quality assurance test plan, procedures, and test reports with user facing client.

• Planning, coordinating, and executing one or multiple levels of quality assurance testing (product level, System, documentation).

• Providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.

• Conduct focus area design, technical, and management reviews to monitor, advise, and report on progress and potential problems.

Scoring Methodology:

5 pts : 6 years of experience in each of the above criteria

3 pts: 4 years of experience in each of the above criteria (mandatory of senior must include the last two criteria)

1 pt: 2 years of experience in two of the above criteria (mandatory for intermediate)

Education: (NOT MANDATORY, ONLY ADDITIONAL SCORING)

• Degree/ diploma in science or engineering (2pts)

• High school diploma (1 pt)

Scoring Range for level of resource:

Senior: 18-24 pts (6-8 years' experience)

Intermediate: 10-17 pts (4-6 years' experience)

Junior: 5-9 pts (2-4 years' experience)
