Business Analyst Process/IAM

Our client in the education sector is looking for a contract based Business Analyst with a specialization in process efficiency as part of theri Identiy and Access Management implementation program.

Location:
Mainly remote with occasional visit to St. Catherines office

Duration:
6 months to start

Responsibilities:

• Process Documentation and Analysis:
  Develop detailed process flow diagrams that map out all business processes. Analyze these processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Value Chain Assessment:
  Conduct value chain analyses to determine the effectiveness of business processes and identify opportunities for cost reduction and service enhancement.
• Efficiency Analysis:
  Utilize various analytical tools and methodologies to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes. Recommend improvements based on quantitative and qualitative data.
• IAM Project Involvement:
  Work closely with the IT security team on IAM projects, ensuring that business process integration is seamless and meets all security standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and ensure that business needs are met in the process documentation and improvement proposals.
• Change Management:
  Assist in the implementation of new processes or process changes, including training and communication to stakeholders and process users.
• Reporting and Communication:
  Prepare reports and presentations that clearly communicate process analysis findings and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Process Business Analyst, with proven skills in creating detailed process flow diagrams and conducting efficiency and value chain analyses.
• Strong understanding of and experience with IAM projects, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proficient in process mapping and business process reengineering.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical IT staff and business stakeholders.
• Experience with business analysis tools and software, such as MS Visio, Lucidchart, or similar for process diagramming.
• Knowledge of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) is highly desirable.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
• Experience in project management and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
