We are looking for a customer service-oriented, motivated individual to join our professional team as a Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our Pump and Power Division in Aldergrove, BC .

What You'll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect, service, maintain and repair diesel powered generators and diesel pumps, as well as electric submersible pumps of various voltages.
Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders in a complete and timely manner.
Service generators and pumps on customer jobsites (primarily an in-shop position).
Provide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers.
Adhere to company Health and Safety Policies.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of five years of related mechanical experience working on generators is required.
Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and components and diesel engines is required.
Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.
Relevant trade certificate would be an asset, or equivalent education and experience.
Strong electrical knowledge in 12volt dc and ac power systems is an asset.
Understanding of Tier 4 emissions and diesel pumps is an asset.
Valid Class 5 license with clean or satisfactory driver's abstract (no more than 3 demerit points).
Must have a complete set of tools (or working on obtaining a complete set of tools).
Must be available to work overtime as required, and to work on an on-call rotation .
Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
