Field Service Technician Vancouver Island

Job Location

P&G Canada is seeking a highly-motivated individual for a Field Service Technician position with our P&G Professional Organization to start immediately.
This is a non-management (no direct reports), full-time permanent field role with no prior experience required (you will be trained).
The successful candidate will cover Vancouver Island (Vancouver Island, Victoria, occasional Vancouver support).
The ideal candidate is located in the territory.

P&G Professional is the commercial division of Procter & Gamble focused on improving the lives of our consumers away from home.
We provide the hospitality, foodservice, and long-term care industries chemical programs and solutions (including dispensing/dilution equipment, commercial dishwashing machines, etc) that keep their facilities clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Participate in training (prior experience not required) to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our chemical dispensing equipment as well as other equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations.
• Develop your territory by jointly selling alongside our distributor representatives.
• Deliver exceptional service for customer retention and superior customer service.

Role Structure

• Field-based position that is 80% service and 20% selling.
• Work Schedule may include 12-hour shifts, 5-day work week, occasional weekends, and night shifts
• Alternating On-Call Coverage, which may include occasional weekends, holidays and night calls
• May be required to work over-time

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma (College Diploma or Higher Education is an asset)

• Located in or willing to Self-Relocate to the territory.
Relocation support is not available for the role.

• Valid Driver's License

Structure du poste

Poste basé sur le terrain avec 80% de service et 20% de vente.

L'horaire de travail peut comprendre des quarts de travail de 12 heures, une semaine de travail de 5 jours, des fins de semaine occasionnelles et des quarts de nuit.

Couverture sur appel en alternance, pouvant inclure des week-ends occasionnels, des jours fériés et des appels de nuit.

Il peut être nécessaire de faire des heures supplémentaires.

- Diplôme de fin d'études secondaires (un diplôme d'études supérieures est un atout)

- Situé dans le territoire ou prêt à s'y réinstaller.
Aucune aide à la réinstallation n'est disponible pour ce poste.
