Manager Financial Modeling & Planning

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a Manager, Financial Modeling & Planning for a large organization with operations around the world. A truly global business, our client is looking for a high performer who wants to be exposed to complex business and financing issues. The focus will be on working with financial models to provide information to senior leadership to make good business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop & review project finance models to support business decisions and investment evaluations
• Oversee the preparation of monthly management reports, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Manage the monthly forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to drive financial performance
• Create and deliver compelling presentations to senior management and other stakeholders regarding forecasted financial performance
• Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement FP&A best practices
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all financial models and reports
• Lead and manage a team of FP&A analysts, providing guidance, mentorship and performance evaluations
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with the FP&A team as well as other stakeholders
• Manage and coordinate the preparation of ad-hoc analysis and reports
• Identify and advise on potential risks and opportunities

Requirements:

• Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA), CFA, or MBA is preferred
• 2+ years of experience leading a small team
• 6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis in complex environment
• Experience managing the budgeting process for a large and complex organization
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills using Excel and other tools
• Experience dealing with long-term contracts
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to Executive leadership
• Ability to develop and manage a dynamic business process in a fast paced environment

Remuneration:

• $120,000 - $140,000
