Organization Description:North Vancouver Community Players (The Theatre at Hendry Hall home of the North Vancouver Community Players) is a small non-professional community theatre company in North Vancouver formed in 1972. NVCP is 100% volunteer, including the elected Executive Committee, actors and supporting crew. NVCP produces six plays a year, including a Christmas pantomime with benefits going to a charity. NVCP has a vibrant and strong membership of 193.
North Vancouver Community Players is a small community theatre company seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Arts Marketing Specialist - Content Calendar Creation to undertake a defined marketing project. Responsive to our Publicity/Marketing Committee you will create and execute a comprehensive goal-focused marketing and social media strategy.
Goals
Increase a social media following on Facebook, Instagram. Gain intergenerational supporters through online engagement. Create a step-by-step foundational content creation and media management plan for volunteers to utilize.
Responsibilities:Develop a community-focused content marketing plan that aligns with our artistic vision and brand guidelines. Create a content calendar that includes social media updates, email campaigns, and other arts-focused content based around the theatre season. Collaborate with the artistic team (for each play) to develop an engaging voice that resonates with our target audience.
Qualifications:Experience in content creation or social media management (in arts marketing preferred). Vibrant written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms.
