What will you do?

Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.

Maintain knowledge of traditional database systems applying ETL and data movement.
Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure cloud solutions. Ensure these solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and meet business requirements.
Oversee the deployment, management, and operation of applications on Azure. This includes configuring cloud environments and ensuring optimal performance.
Work closely with IT and development teams to plan and execute cloud strategies. Provide guidance on Azure best practices.
Monitor and optimize cloud solutions for performance efficiency. Implement new features and technologies as they become available on the Azure platform.
Provide technical support for cloud-based applications. Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and best practices.
Provide 2nd level support and triage assigned tickets based on priorities.

What do you bring?

A growth mindset: above all else, we're looking for people who are dependable, ambitious and want to grow with Reliance
Post Secondary Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as an Azure Developer or similar role.
Minimum 3+ years of ETL experience working ideally with Azure Data Factory.
Proficiency in crafting and maintaining clustered and non-clustered indexes to optimize SQL Server performance.
Good knowledge of System Development Life cycle (SDLC) and agile techniques.
Create intricate database systems, programs, and applications through design, development, and implementation.
Strong knowledge of Azure data tools such as Azure Storage accounts, Azure Data factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Automation account, Azure key vaults, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Analysis services.
Create automated workflows with the help of triggers, runbooks and ETL sequence.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, PowerShell, or Python.
Experienced with MS, SQL, SSIS, MS SQL SSRS,0Data, SOAP/REST API's, BLOG Storage and Notebooks.
Experience with Functions and code version control GIT/GitHub and DevOps.
Experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools.
