Data strategy director

Duties:
You will implement the Do D Data Strategy Framework and the development, execution, management, and continual evolution of the Data Strategy Implementation Plan.
You will drive organizational culture and accompany teams in change management, influencing adoption of the data strategy through alignment on vision and workforce development.
You will adopt enterprise data standards that simultaneously improves overall data quality, data sharing, and data security, ensuring compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures.
You will implement a global metadata strategy and execution plan to track, capture and manage key metadata for critical data.
You will track, manage, mitigate, and communicate risks, issues, and status as it relates to data transformation goals, strategic initiatives, and processes.

This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites.
You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
You will be required to sign the Statement of Understanding for Overseas Employment acknowledging receipt and understanding of the statement of living and working conditions for this location.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

1) Leveraging advanced data analytics to lead business management functions associated with large, impactful programs.; 2) Leading teams and managing programs that deliver data- and AI-enabled solutions at scale.; 3) Developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services; and 4) Utilizing data science approaches to solve operational and mission challenges, cloud computing, privacy, confidentiality, data analytics, statistical methods, and policy development.- Note:
