GAP Business Consulting provides professional, client-focused services to users of the TechnologyOne ERP system.
Existing clients include state government, local government, not-for-profit, and private companies.
The business has been operating for ten years and continues to experience growth due to increased customer demand.
We provide consulting and support services across all modules of the Technology One Core Enterprise Suite.
We have recently formed a partnership with MWJ Accountants which is providing great synergies for our staff and clients.
About the role
Your role will be to partner with our clients to create efficiencies, improve business processes, provide advice and help them get the most out of their ERP system.
You will provide onsite or remote consulting services to clients that will include implementing new modules and helping them move to the new CiAnywhere interface, along with report development, system configuration, user training, data migration and interface development.
This is a dynamic role where you will rarely be sitting behind the same desk.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to identify issues, provide recommendations, and deliver solutions.
Provide expert advice in new module implementation and moving to the new CiAnywhere interface.
Perform system configuration, installation, data migration, upgrades and quality assurance (testing).
Identify training and change management requirements.
Maintain a solution-orientated attitude to exceed client expectations.
About you
Successful applicants are expected to have a well-developed understanding of the TechnologyOne system and underlying system functionality.
Prior experience in system administrator or configuration roles within the TechnologyOne product suite will be looked upon favourably.
This role interacts extensively with our clients; successful applicants will demonstrate excellent communication and people skills and must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will be IT savvy, a problem-solver, have an accounting background, and a strong customer service ethic.
Experience with the TechnologyOne ERP system is essential, along with a strong understanding of the capabilities of enterprise systems and ERP software.
Analytical and problem-solving skills in business analysis, system design and business process reengineering.
Strong functional knowledge of the TechnologyOne system, including both Ci and CiAnywhere application suites.
High level of organisational and planning skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
There will be opportunities to grow and advance with this role as the business grows.
Training and development opportunities will be provided, and working from home will be an option at certain times.
The position is ideally based in Hobart, however applicants from Northern Tasmania, or interstate are encouraged to apply.
Some intrastate and interstate travel will be required.
