The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Processing Manager for our Mt Holland mine and concentrator.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role will see you providing leadership and direction to the Processing Department function to ensure the safe delivery of the required concentrate tonnage at the approved grade, recovery and rate in accordance with the execution plan, project schedule and within budgeted costs.

You'll be responsible for bringing together all the required business processes to deliver the processing functional outputs and operational services in a safe and efficient manner to achieve the business goals consistently, predictably and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

Actively lead and participate in the establishment of a health and safety culture, leading by example, and setting the required health and safety standards.
Champion strong environmental performance through operational discipline and business improvement
Develop, implement and manage a processing management policy, framework, and strategy for the expected life of the operation to support the life of mine.
Ensure the effective implementation of integrated business processes and systems for Processing and Metallurgy systems, to identify, plan and schedule, safely execute, accurately monitoring, and continuously improve the departments functions.
Responsible for weekly, monthly and annual planning, and scheduling of Processing and Metallurgical activities to ensure maximum productivity of the plant and labour to achieve operational targets.
Responsible for the preparation of multi-year budget and forecasts, including personnel, capital justification, and the collation of data on a systematic basis for progressive forecasting, reporting and future estimating based on equipment lifecycle costing principles to reduce total cost of ownership.
Develop.
and manage and lead an effective processing and metallurgy team, instilling a culture of safety, teamwork, ownership, and accountability while mentoring and coaching for professional growth.

Role Requirements

10 -15 years' experience in complex minerals processing operations, and preferably within base metals.
10 years in a senior leadership role
Bachelor's degree in engineering, majoring in Minerals Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
Previous process plant experience in mining environment (preferably in hard rock lithium processing).
