Role Overview
Lead a team of data engineers in creating personalization model, managing our data infrastructureand and collaborating with other teams to understand their data needs.
Your Focus
Lead the development and implementation of data machine learning models to support business objectives.
Create and update the personalisation models that power the user experience of Cashrewards.
Lead and manage a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that empowers engineers to innovate and excel in their roles.
Develop and execute comprehensive data strategies, driving efficiency, scalability and sustainable growth while meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data infrastructure.
Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance.
Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
Manage the team's budget, resources, and timelines to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data science & engineering and incorporate them into the team's work.
About You
Experience in similar Head of Data role.
Experience in leading and managing a team of data engineers.
Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive data strategies.
Strong technical expertise in data science & engineering principles and best practices, including data pipeline design, messaging processes, and data infrastructure management.
Experience with data governance, ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Experience in technologies including but not limited to AWS Redshift, CDP technologies and demonstrating expertise in relevant platforms and frameworks.
Experience with data analytics and machine learning, developing and implementing models to support business objectives.
Strategic acumen, able to synthesize market trends, technological advancements, and organizational objectives.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale data projects concurrently.
Familiarity with Marketing Technology (Martech) platforms and their utilization.
