The Role
This role will see you leading and coordinating the Mt Holland Management Accounting function to continue to develop reporting, planning and month end process solutions.

This is a permanent, full time position working from our Kwinana Head Office, with support for flexible working arrangements including access to our Perth CBD Office and working from home arrangements. Please note that travel to site will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the month end process and ensure effective compliance and timely completion of the month end accounting procedures on site.
Coordinating cost review meetings with key operational stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage the 5 year plan, budget and forecast process for Mt Holland.
Take ownership for the analysis and commentary of month end results and understand the operational cost drivers which contribute to effective cost control and performance improvement.
Provide support to operational stakeholders with capital expenditure from initial application through to cost monitoring and capitalisation close out.
Assist with internal and external audits and provide support to ensure effective and timely completion of the audit process.
Provide support in the completion of Statutory submissions for Mt Holland.
Maintain a continuous improvement approach with regards to the month end process, management reporting and analysis of Mt Holland operations.

Role Requirements

University degree in Finance/Accounting
CPA/CA qualification or equivalent
5+ years' management accounting experience within the mining industry
Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
