Senior SEO Analyst

The Senior SEO Analyst is part of the APEI Marketing team and will focus on SEO across APEI portfolio brands. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SEO Analyst to join our dynamic team in the higher education sector. The ideal candidate will specialize in developing and executing SEO strategies to enhance the online presence and recruitment efforts of our academic programs. As a Senior SEO Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving our institution's digital marketing success, focusing on optimizing our websites and content to attract prospective students and faculty globally.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the higher education landscape, focusing on program marketing and institutional visibility.
• Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization and to improve search engine rankings.
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content development and marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze website traffic, search engine rankings, and SEO performance to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide expert recommendations and actionable insights to enhance website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Stay abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure our SEO strategies remain effective and competitive.
• Manage relationships with external SEO agencies and vendors as required.
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on SEO performance, insights, and strategies.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of SEO experience, with a proven record of accomplishment in a senior role, preferably in the higher education sector or related industries.
• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, and SEO best practices.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in using SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in managing teams and/or external partners.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically to drive results.
