PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This position is responsible for making value propositions come alive thru storytelling and messaging platforms in highly utilized/viewed digital and print media. This includes creating the copy and creative design for all external communications and working with external agencies to balance internal/external workload. This role is measured on the on-time delivery of projects, distribution team and customer utilization/view of content, strength and simplicity of content to persuade customers to take action, value added to the development of marketing plans and incorporation of creative ideas to continuously elevate the Rite-Hite brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Supports the definition and maintenance of Rite-Hite brand guidelines at the product level
• Develops and designs simple, compelling and engaging external marketing content (e.g., E-mails, brochures, videos, newsletters, infographics, case studies, social media posts) in partnership with the product marketer and marketing plan
• Creates content that persuades target customers to take action and enhances the sales team ability to sell more effectively, efficiently and confidently
• Routinely brings creative ideas to consider as part of the marketing plan deliverables
• Supports the transformation of the value proposition from product marketing into a consistent and compelling messaging platform and visual identity, writing the copy and creating the design for a variety of media including sales tools, website, videos, etc.
• Partners with the insights and operational excellence team to understand the utilization of content created
• Tailors content to target personas identified in the marketing plan and ensures there is a consistent, common tone across all Rite-Hite external communications
• Supports the creation of messaging and visuals for tradeshows
• Works with external agencies to balance workload and support the prioritized content in marketing plans
• Maintains a transparent and prioritized workload tracker for clear visibility on project status at all times
• Creates and manages a common home and file naming for digital marketing assets
• Collaborates with public relations partners to create press releases, white papers, infographics, articles, etc. aligned with the prioritized marketing themes
• Facilitates the internal reviews and approvals of content before finalizing
• Reviews externally facing content with the legal team to ensure the right balance between bold marketing messages and business risk

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or similar required.
• 2+ years related experience in marketing communications, advertising, creative design, marketing or related field.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Adobe or equivalent creative tools
• B2B product marketing experience across the complete lifecycle preferred.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Ability to work and communicate with colleagues across operating companies and supporting functions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong creative design, copywriting, project management skills.
• Demonstrated experience developing, measuring and enhancing high impact content and creative design as part of marketing programs.
• Must be able to plan, organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
