Job Overview:
The Field Supervisor is responsible for managing the day to day field operations of an assigned work team.Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage and direct crewsOversees daily activities, assignments, jobs, and work ordersProvide timely and accurate routing of daily workloadEnsure assigned projects are completed to specifications and within deadlinesPerform regular Quality Control and Safety inspectionsCommunicate with staff, crews, sub-contractors, and customersWork with customers to resolve service-related complaintsInvestigate, document, and resolve damage claimsConduct vehicle and tool inspections per company guidelinesEnsure compliance with Department of Transportation guidelines and requirementsEnsure all safety training is completed per company guidelinesAudit invoices for accuracyComplete change orders as neededProvide on-call service as neededAll other duties as assignedWorking Conditions:
Work conducted in a standard office environment with the potential to work outdoors at job sites.
Often exposed to sounds and noise levels from equipment that are distracting and uncomfortable.
Required to wear protective equipment when working at outdoor construction sites.Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Education and/or training in communications or construction required.Experience:
1-2 years' experience supervising field operations.Number and Type of Employees Supervised:
varies depending on projectRequired Licenses or Certifications:
Operator's License, DCL preferred, OSHA-10 preferred.Required Skills:
