Our team is responsible for design, test, integration, and maintenance of all vehicle avionics systems, including flight computers, RF communications, vehicle controls, navigation instrumentation, power systems, astronaut audio and video, data acquisition, and more.
You will be integrated with our rocket program and technical leads to drive requirements definition, modeling, analysis, design, test and production release of on-vehicle components and sub-systems.
Your responsibilities will encompass electronic requirements, architecture concepts, detailed design, and development.
In addition, you will follow avionics designs through formal verification, environmental qualification, release, and participate in flight support activities.Your responsibilities as a RF Electrical Engineer will go beyond the technical aspects of the position.
You will mentor and coach other avionics engineers within the RF team and have ownership of design modification/implementation of team standards, processes, and plans.
