We also help companies understand their business travel expenses and fulfill their duty of care.We are seeking a Senior manager to join our team of experienced software leaders.The Egencia Search team builds features and tools to empower our travelers to search for all our product offerings and allow travelers the ability to book their complete trip on the platform.
The team's responsibilities span web development and backend micro-services using multiple languages and frameworks including Java, React, Spring, and KotlinBasic Qualifications3+ years of engineering team management experience7+ years of working directly within engineering team experience3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) new and existing systems experience8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experienceKnowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operationsExperience partnering with product and program management teamsPreferred QualificationsLead the team that is responsible for building the horizontal search experience for EgenciaCommunicate with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategyExperience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineersRelocation (Y/N):
NLocationBellevue, Washington, United StatesThe base salary range for this position in this location zone is from $159,000 to $222,500.
The range provided includes the base salary that Egencia expects to pay for the role.
Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to be nominated for awards under our Equity Incentive Plan.
