QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Licensed physician in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
  • Candidate Must be BE/BC
  • Certifications as required by hospital by-laws (e.g. ACLS, ATLS, PALS, etc.)
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
  • ED Volume: 15,000
  • 10% Admission Rate
  • 10-bed ED
  • 12-hour shift lengths
  • Epic EMR system
HOSPITAL
  • 80-bed licensed acute care facility
  • 24/7 Emergency services
  • Serves 47,000 residents in Emporia & surrounding communities
  • Behavioral health unit for inpatient psychiatry admissions, which has 10 beds and hospitalist does medical consults
