As the Assistant Director for the Arts Council, you will report directly to the Arts Division Director.
About the Position:
In this role you will be a major contributor to a strong day-to-day leadership presence for program managers to accomplish the Arts Division/ Salt Lake City Arts Councils Strategic Plan, as well as direct staff activities, and coordinate with the Board.
This role includes developing internal organizational processes, systems and infrastructure, and special projects with the goal of supporting organizational growth.
In addition, responsibilities include multiple and varied operational, finance, grants writing and development, contract management, and administrative responsibilities in a dynamic environment with overlapping and changing priorities.
This is a professional position that requires strong leadership skills, passion for the arts, dedication to inclusivity, and the ability to take direction while simultaneously being collaborative and pro-active.
