About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement COE (Center of Excellence) Template Library and Compliance & Risk Management Specialist for a 3-month assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive procurement COE template library and implementing robust compliance and risk management processes to enhance procurement efficiency and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Development of Procurement COE Template Library
- Create a centralized library of standardized procurement templates, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, contracts, and other procurement-related documents.
- Ensure templates are user-friendly, comprehensive, and adhere to best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather input and ensure templates meet organizational needs.
2. Compliance and Risk Management
- Develop a comprehensive procurement policy that includes guidelines on vendor selection, conflict of interest, and ethical sourcing.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to mitigate identified risks.
3. Training and Support
- Provide training and support to the procurement team on the use of the COE template library and compliance policies.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to ensure consistent understanding and application of procurement processes.
4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on procurement activities, compliance, and risk management efforts to senior management.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the procurement team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, compliance, and risk management.
- Proven experience in developing procurement policies and template libraries.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and risk management techniques.
- Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
