We provide IT/Cybersecurity expertise and solutions to include assessment, planning, acquiring, authorization, deployment, sustainment, accountability, and reporting on supported IT/Cybersecurity systems. We support programmatic oversight to the Integrated Data Environment (IDE) and assistance to Enterprise-level Data Management (DM) systems.
This effort is focused on Cybersecurity, IT acquisition/sustainment support, and Project Management support to the U.S. Air Force's Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) GBSD Enterprise. IT/Cybersecurity support involves work in a wide range of functions, such as Program Management, IS Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Analysis, Software Engineering, IS Security Management, Technical Writing, Quality Assurance (QA), Configuration Management (CM), process controls, and administrative support.
• Duties/Responsibilities:
•
Develop and implement Information Assurance (IA), and security standards and procedures
Coordinate, develop, and evaluate security programs for an organization
Recommend IA and security requirements
Support customers in development and implementation of doctrine and policies
Perform analysis, design, and development of security features
Analyze and define security requirements systems
Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions that meet security requirements
Provide integration and implementation of the security solutions
Analyze general information assurance-related technical problems and provide basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems
Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle
Assist in the coordination of joint strategic and operational planning and execution of joint fires, targeting, capability pairing, and threat mitigation
Senior level personnel with a high degree of experience and knowledge in security disciplines
• Qualifications:
•
3 + years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
Relevant core and advanced certifications as established/required per local, national and international industry standards or as necessitated by performance expectations associated with level of appointment
Knowledge, skill and abilities run in conjunction with current versions of AFMAN17-1303, DoDI 8570, and stated educational requirements
High degree of experience and knowledge in security disciplines required
Must have and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance
• Education/Experience:
•
BS Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field + 10 years of experience, OR
MS degree + 7 years of experience, OR
PhD + 4 years of experience
• Other Requirements:
•
Top Secret security clearance
Must pass background check and drug screening
Must be able to read and write effectively in English
