The General Manager (UST Texas) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the overall success, operational efficiency, and financial performance of our operations across multiple branches within the state of Texas. Leading a team of approximately 100 members, the General Manager oversees both field and administrative positions, with direct supervision over approximately eight team members. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive business growth, maintain a strong customer focus, and foster employee engagement in a dynamic and competitive market environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of approximately 100 team members, ensuring alignment with company objectives and values.
Take ownership of profit and loss related activities, monitoring and evaluating operational performance through KPIs and data-driven metrics.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures throughout the assigned area.
Conduct annual performance reviews and evaluations to maintain job satisfaction among team members.
Develop financial budgets, plans, and forecasts, while also assisting in recruiting, selecting, and training employees.
Execute local business decisions based on thorough financial and operational analysis.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with Tech24 leadership in both Texas and the South Region.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 6 years of experience successfully leading a fast-paced service organization.
Direct experience in operational, team leadership, and financial oversight of a P/L.
Experience in facility management or construction is required; familiarity with the commercial kitchen equipment industry is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Special Knowledge/Skills and/or Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Self-starting ability to motivate individuals and foster teamwork.
Proficiency in cost analysis and forecasting to align with company goals.
