We are an established and leading marina design-build construction company. Currently, we are looking to hire a Project Development Coordinator who is local to our Houston, TX facility. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of experience and knowledge in the marine industry. This position does require local travel.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the development of projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
2. Prepare and analyze project cost estimates and budgets, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
3. Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
4. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and proposals for project materials and services.
5. Maintain a comprehensive project schedule and monitor progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure project deadlines are met.
6. Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders, ensuring everyone is kept informed of project status and any changes.
7. Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
8. Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained according to company standards.
9. Assist in the negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project development processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project development or project management in the marine construction industry.
3. Proven experience in project cost estimating and budgeting.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Excellent understanding of architectural drawings and specifications.
6. Proficient in the use of project management software.
7. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
10. Must be detail-oriented and have a high level of accuracy in work output.
11. Excellent organizational and planning skills.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project.
