PURPOSE
The Bilingual (English and Spanish) HR Specialist is a Human Resources professional who serves as a general expert on a wide range of HR Operations for our departments located in the US and Mexico. This is a versatile position that supports the regional HR Business Partners and HR Management team with administration of employee records, terminations, training, general compliance and change requests in the HRIS and other Systems. This is an employee support and employee facing role that requires confidence, professionalism, accuracy and timely follow through on requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboarding/Offboarding
Ensures a seamless onboarding experience, from new hire outreach to hosting international weekly Welcome Calls (in English/Spanish) and administers additional intentional touch points.
Reviews for accuracy and tracks employee change requests in the HRIS (i.e, salary increases, promos, department/supervisor changes etc.)
Assists with employee outreach as needed to complete onboarding process or to train on initial processes.
Tracks and stores all offboarding documents in employee files to ensure compliance.
Responsible for distributing employees exit documents and rollover forms as applicable.
Submits various bonuses types for payroll processing.
Communicates all employee exits to IT to disable access;
Completes and files initial responses to unemployment claims.
Assists with employee verifications as needed
Supports employee relocations and serves as point person for payment arrangements, tracking and drafting agreements.
Assists in managing the HR inbox to provide basic responses to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits. Escalates to the appropriate subject matter expert as applicable.
Assists with the tracking and administration of reductions in force, severance and retention agreements
HRIS
Serves as backup to other HR operational roles to include expertise of HRIS entries and report generation, time tracking and PTO administration for our international office.
Responsible for assisting with various system modules as requested for testing, training or required updates.
Compliance & Training
Assists with drafting training content and refreshing details to keep materials relevant.
Handles ad hoc projects and tracking for HR Management as needed.
Operations & Engagement
Produces Workflow Management Reports to timely change requests and approvals
Administers monthly reporting and communications for promotions and employee anniversaries.
Responsible for making updates to SharePoint content repository and the HR content pages of the company s intranet site.
Processes monthly Org Chart updates and reports as requested.
Assists with drafting performance management forms, and termination letters as requested.
Assist with updating the quarterly Career Paths
Participates in employee round tables and focus groups as requested.
Helps deliver and drive culture, engagement and DE&I initiatives
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
SHRM certified professional (SHRM-CP) preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
2 years previous experience working in a HR Administrative role.
Proficient Communications in Spanish/English required
1 year of HRIS experience, preferred.
1 year of leave management experience, preferred.
Experience with learning and development, training and/or employees relations desired.
PHR and/or SHRM-CP, preferred
