Overview
Immediate Hiring Need for a Design Engineer
Full time position with generous benefits package
We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and revising assembly, weldment, and component drawings per the master model layout or instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Modify standard models to meet customer requirements by designing new components
- Manage budgeted hours and timelines
- Provide support activities including loading BOMs and drawings into SAP
- Work directly with the Project Engineer to satisfy application requirements.
- Apply appropriate drafting practices
- Apply consistent design practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in an industrial setting
- Experience designing machinery for manufacturing
- Experience with sheet metal and welding practices
- Coursework in engineering design and drafting.
Not Required but our ideal candidate would have:
- Mechanical engineering drafting and design work in Inventor or SolidWorks. ACAD a plus.
- Engineering Technology Degree a plus.
- Veteran
