As the Final Documents Specialist position provides collection and processing of all final documents. Delivers to the appropriate Investor(s).
Position Location: 4201 Marsh Lane, Carrollton, TX
Position Details: Contract
What you will do:
- Processing
- Manages a pipeline of conditions and via the system of record and delivers documents received to various investors according to specific shipping methods.
- Orders checks from accounting and completes internal logs as applicable.
- Corrects and re-records defective documents cited by investors
- Prepares assignments as required
- Communicates with title companies, Attorneys offices and County Recorders offices to retrieve outstanding documents. Provides status updates to internal/external teams for conditions within pipeline as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years of mortgage experience or 3+ years of office experience
- Demonstrated experience in analytical, critical thinking, and research techniques
- Demonstrated experience with attention to detail, time management, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines
- Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage loan documents and related documentation
- Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage servicing best practices
