As our Senior Brand Manager , you will report into and support our Vice President of Customer Marketing in driving the Cengage Higher Ed brand strategy.
You'll implement, protect, uphold, and promote our brand to increase brand awareness in the Higher Education market, influence marketing campaigns, drive web and social traffic, build customer engagement and increase consumer loyalty.
What you'll do here:
Brand Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive brand to achieve business objectives and drive growth
Campaign Execution - support the execution of individual customer segment campaign strategy by ensuring we maintain brand presence and support ongoing initiatives.
Content Strategy - work across customer segments to build a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Cengage Higher Ed's brand objectives and resonates across customer segments.
Deliver across multiple platforms and channels, including social media, blogs, and third-party channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand voice.
Brand Assessment and Analysis - conduct comprehensive assessment of current brand strategy and positioning, identifying weaknesses, missed opportunities and areas for improvement.
Own measurement of overall impact of strategies deployed.
Strategic Planning - Develop short-term and long-term strategies to address immediate opportunities while also laying the foundation for future brand positioning and growth.
Competitive Analysis - Look across Cengage Higher Ed's primary competitors to determine where there is room to increase Cengage Higher Ed's brand awareness and competitive strength.
Build and deploy strategies to meet market demand and customer preferences.
Brand Partnerships - build and maintain relationships with associations and organizations that Cengage Higher Ed will benefit from being aligned with and own strategies for optimizing those relationships.
Skills you'll need here:
8+ years proven experience in relevant roles
Ability to speak 'creative,'tech,' and 'business.'
Relationship builder and customer centric
Experience managing a brand across multiple markets
Creative and analytical in solving problems
Strong written and verbal skills
Strategic in identifying long-term opportunities and trends

Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.
