About the clinician's workday
The position involves 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM and 8 PM to 8 AM. The morning shift has double coverage, while the evening shift has solo coverage. Candidates must be willing to work both AM and PM shifts. The role requires spending 99% of the time in direct patient care and 1% in administrative tasks. Applicants must have an active license and DEA in any state, be board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (with eligibility up to three years from residency), and have active ACLS and BLS certifications. The electronic medical records system used is CPRS. Travel and lodging expenses are covered.
