Agronomist/Agronomy Sales Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Agronomist to join our team.
The Agronomist will be responsible for providing expertise on crop production, soil management, and Western agricultural sustainability.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in market analysis, business development, and sales strategies within the agricultural industry.
Duties:
Provide expert advice and consultations.Conduct research on crop production techniques and technologies to optimize yields.Conduct on-site visits to assess crop conditions, identify potentioal issues, and recommend appropriate products and servicesCollaborate with farmers to develop sustainable agricultural practices.Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for business development.Sell and promote spray application equipment, seed, fertilizers and pesticides.Engage in outside sales activities to promote agricultural products and services.Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to ensure favorable terms.Provide technical support to customers on product usage and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field preferred; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in technical sales, analyzing market data, and driving sales growth.Strong understanding of Western agronomic principles and sustainable farming practices.Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.If you are passionate about agriculture, possess a blend of technical expertise and sales knowledge, and are eager to make a positive impact in the industry, we encourage you to apply for the Agronomist position.
