Senior Salesforce Application Architect

In this position
As a Salesforce Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the technical aspects of Salesforce projects, ensuring that they align with business objectives and industry best practices.
Employees located in the SE Michigan area will be required to work in the office three days a week in a hybrid work environment.
Remote employees will also be considered for this position.
What you'll do
Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, including configuration, customization, integration, and data migration.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
Design and architect scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that meet business needs and adhere to best practices.
Provide guidance and expertise to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that technical solutions are implemented according to design specifications.
Conduct code reviews and ensure that development best practices are followed.
Define and document technical architectures, including system integrations, data models, and security models.
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, releases, and best practices, and provide recommendations for optimizing existing solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations, and provide guidance to stakeholders on solution design and implementation.
Mentor and coach junior team members, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
You will have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
12+ years of experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and data migrations.
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect.
Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including declarative features (e.g., Process Builder, Flow) and programmatic features (e.g., Apex, Visualforce).
Strong technical skills in Salesforce development, including proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
Experience with Salesforce data modeling, security model design, and integration patterns.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience working in Agile development methodologies is a plus.

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8.
