POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide clinical supervision, training, and direction to assigned residential team members who are working with adults with a severe and persistent mental illness in improving their level of functioning to transition to a lesser restrictive environment.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or other human services related field required.
Three to five years experience in community mental health and/or rehabilitation field preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of professionals and ability to participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Able to obtain/maintain CDP certification or interested in working toward such certifications.
Able to obtain CCSP Certification.
Approved driving record with ability to provide transportation.
Basic Computer skills required.
Certification in CPR/AED and First Aid is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Able to perform in a fast paced environment and to be able to multi-task.
Must be able to provide after hours On Call coverage of clinical and administrative issues for the residential settings according to a rotating schedule and be available to arrive for work in the event of an emergency or call out.
Mandatory Stay - must remain on site until relieved by qualified personnel.
Competently and consistently completes work accurately and thoroughly.
Ability to be a self-starter, work with minimal supervision and continually seeks new/better methods to organize/complete work.
Effectively accomplishes duties by working with others, including team members, other CCA staff and/or outside agencies.
Demonstrates competency in clinical/technical or administrative skills, procedures, methods, and tools required to perform the job successfully.
Regularly available for work, reliable and on time for all things scheduled.
