• Summary
•
DPS is looking for a Plumbing Engineer or Designer in the Philadelphia area with experience designing domestic / laboratory / industrial water and waste systems.
• Key responsibilities:
•
• Ability to work with engineering design software / BIM (Revit, CAD) required
• Work closely with discipline staff to deliver all aspects of plumbing and fire protection projects
• Build specialized design experience working with a team of experts in life sciences
• Layout and sizing of plumbing equipment / systems
• Coordinate and interact effectively with other MEP disciplines
• Generate, coordinate, update, and maintain project design drawings leveraging BIM
• Visit client sites to obtain relevant information
• Interact with equipment vendors to coordinate design work
• Skills & Qualifications
•
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit
• EIT a plus
• An understanding of domestic plumbing systems design fundamentals
• 1-5 years of facility design experience minimum
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Deltek Vision or equivalent; Office 365
