Purpose

The goal of the SAP EWM Consultant is to provide support for the NDT Global SAP S/4 HANA Landscape by supporting and improving EWM business processes, actively train and support SAP Super Users, End Users, executing assigned SAP projects, generating, and improving reports, coordination and execution of the testing and approval, support migration of new releases and being a primary contact with the SAP service provider

Responsibilities

Independently supporting the logistics team in Stutensee for all the SAP EWM processes
Performs diagnostic tests, troubleshoots and resolves issues reported by end users to optimize system performance
Support the design, development and implementation of systems that are fit for purpose and free from fundamental design flaws with the input form project teams made up of user and technical personnel
Works with and support of business process owners to ensure effective use of SAP system by debugging, creating connections to other systems for exchange of data and overall application of improvements to get the most out of the SAP system (including the support for report writing and statistics gathering)
Collaborates closely with all business functions to determine their SAP-related needs and support in relation to the system
Provide functional support and upgrades, including managing day-to-day maintenance on the system, as well as support of any system upgrades, outages, configuration & development of system including the associated testing
Provide basic SAP training to new employees including super user and end users
Review, develop and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in evaluating and optimizing business processes, striving to deliver process automation, efficiencies, and improved accuracy
Requirements A bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering/Supply Chain or related education
SAP Certification is preferred
Minimum of 4 years of experience in an SAP EWM role within a multinational environment is required
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook)
Intermediate knowledge of a BI-system or other similar Reporting Tools
Minimum 1 full life cycle SAP S/4 HANA implementation is preferred
Skillset Possesses high degree of independence in executing tasks
Proficient in spoken and written English; local language skills are a plus
Desire to learn new SAP modules (SAP MM, SAP PS)
