Role Description
In this role, you will work with a team of designers, developers, product managers to articulate the user experience for customers across a multitude of design solutions tailored toward specific ways of working within the organization.
Responsibilities
Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Conduct competitive analyses of other websites that operate in the same and similar domain.
Create storyboards and outline for interactive and static infographics and whiteboard animations.
Present designs and key milestone deliverables to other designers, leads and stakeholders while clearly communicating design rationale.
Partner with researchers in conducting user research to validate design decisions and gather feedback on the product experience.
Create personas and usage scenarios.
Analyze user feedback, user data to understand the effects of your designs and drive product improvements based on findings.
Collaborate with team to ensure product features meet UX quality standards for workflow, interaction design and microcopy.
Produce clear UX documentation including sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes.
Participate actively in discussions, presentations and decisions about UX/UI.
Design and manage style guidelines for Native, Hybrid, responsive and adaptive layouts.
Have a good understanding of Industry standard heuristics principles and apply them appropriately.
Perform UI design reviews and conduct functional testing to ensure DS and UX standards are understood and being followed.
Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction or similar, Cognitive Psychology, Engineering or related disciplines.
2+ years of experience working in user experience design.
Exposure to user-centred design principles and understanding of UX process.
Excellent knowledge of the design tools - Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Axure.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
