DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Nurse Aide at South Mountain Restoration Center, you will provide basic care to residents by meeting their personal hygiene, physical, and emotional needs to maintain a healthy, clean, and safe environment while meeting basic licensing requirements. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment (40-hour work week)
- Work hours are 1st shift (6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with 30 minute lunch), 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with 30-minute lunch), or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with no lunch). Work schedule consists of rotating on and off duty days, including weekends and holidays. Rotation includes every 3rd weekend off. May change based on operational needs.

- Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or
- Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.
- This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
