While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Reads blueprint or job order for product.
- Tig weld per AWS D17.1 2000 weld standard
- Advises Lead when tooling becomes worn to the point that tooling can be replaced or repaired.
- Cleans and maintains workspace
- Welds products in weld fixtures per prints with little or no support.
- Fits materials into weld fixtures.
- Coordinates with manufacturing to ensure parts meet proper specifications.
- Verifies that parts are of high quality and exceed customer's expectations.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
