Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
Follow established protocols for medication distribution and ensure accuracy in medication administration
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration, documenting any deviations or issues
Conduct venipuncture for blood draws, ensuring proper identification, labeling, and handling of specimens
Ensure proper placement of electrodes and obtain clear and accurate EKG readings
Monitor inmates for any adverse reactions or side effects following medication administration
Ensure the proper storage and security of medications in accordance with facility policies
Monitor and report any discrepancies in medication inventory
Assist in the assessment of inmates' health conditions, particularly in relation to medication management
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CMA CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT:
1+ years of recent experience required
BLS issued through American Heart Association
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must be state certified as a Medical Assistant in OK
Valid driver's license
