Job Purpose:
Study new model feature technology and develop new inspections prior to mass production to
mass production processes and optimize to ensure vehicle quality and process efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

• Evaluate production processes and implement innovative solution to ensure harmonious flow of unit through the department.
• Implement new inspections/processes as new technology is introduced to the department to ensure a quality product to the customer.
• Root Cause Analysis: Resolve complex issues impacting the vehicle, manufacturing process, and/or customers. Complete complex investigations to identify the root cause. Resolve cross functional issues with multiple groups. Document each issue with recommended action plan. Find temporary and permanent solutions to issues when essential to sustain safety, quality, and delivery. Provide feedback on complex issues to the appropriate and or responsible party. Reports results to Management.
• Support production with issues to ensure optimal line efficiency (minimizing downtime): Evaluate process flow to improve inspection and Associate process flow. Respond to line calls with highest priority.
• Mentor other Associates / Co-op's / EDP's
• Identify process improvement within the manufacturing and LET process flow
• Participate in New Model build events
• Cross functional interaction with other departments, Design, and suppliers

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or related associates degree with experience; or equivalent experience
• A minimum of two years experience
• Prioritization skills drives continuous improvement, good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• PDDA, Catia, MOST

• Varied work environment (office and workshop)
• Regular overtime
• Periodic early-morning and late-evening meetings
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
