This is a staff position within the DMED Technology:
Business Operations -Global Program Management organization.
The Manager, Technical Program Management, will lead the planning and execution of strategic Web Consumer Experiences and Platforms programs in the Disney+ portfolio.
This position requires proven experience managing a team of professional employees and in program management.
Ideal candidates must be highly proactive, detail-oriented, and work on multiple assignments that may span the department autonomously.
They must be capable of clearly communicating schedules, risks, status, and processes to various business and technical audiences.
They must partner with program and project managers and technical leads outside their area to coordinate schedules and deliverables.Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
Works with senior leadership, stakeholders, partners and delivery teams to track and maintain a program-level view of initiativesDevelops delivery plans of complex projects and programsEnsures key roles and responsibilities are defined and holds functional managers accountable for their teams deliverablesIdentifies and manages program-level issues and risks and drives decision making and escalationsCommunicates program and roadmap status, schedule updates, and ensure all aligns to program financialsManages and mentors a small team of Program ManagersBasic Qualifications8+ years of relevant experienceBA/BS or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to define at scale a structure for efficient delivery of complex projectsDemonstrated ability to drive initiatives forward to completion through collaboration and consensus across functional areasMust be capable of managing, tracking and troubleshooting multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment with cross-functional teams, vendors and partnersSelf-starter that can autonomously drive multiple work streams inter-departmentallyAbility to develop program schedules, communicate deadlines, and enforce budgets and project milestonesProficient in use of project management and documentation toolsHigh tolerance for ambiguity and working in a matrixed organizationAble to analyze scheduling, budgetary and resourcing data to develop contingency and risk mitigation plansAgile, resource management, and financial experienceThe hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $149,300.00 to $200,200.00 per year and in New York is $156,200.00 to $209,600.00 per year and in Seattle, WA is $156,200.00 to $209,600.00 per year.
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
