Position Summary:
As a Nurse Supervisor in the Outpatient Department, you will oversee the nursing and technician staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs. You will also provide clinical leadership, serve as a resource for staff, and promote a positive work environment. Your responsibilities will include patient care assignments, delegation of duties, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures. This role will also involve acting as a liaison between various stakeholders and ensuring patient safety is a top priority.
Detailed responsibilities:
- Assign and supervise nursing personnel and staff
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
- Develop an efficient organizational structure and encourage staff teamwork
- Act as a clinical resource and role model for department personnel
- Deliver safe direct care to patients and ensure proper documentation
- Participate in educational programs and enhance professional growth
- Follow patient safety-related policies and demonstrate a proactive approach to patient safety
- Report potential patient safety concerns and encourage patient participation in their care
- Education:
• Program Graduate. Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Experience:
• 2 years directly related experience. Bilingual skills a plus. - Credentials:
• CPR certification and RN license in NM or equivalent - Physical Conditions:
• Heavy Work - Working conditions:
• Exposure to hazardous materials
