Responsibilities:
- The Lead Mammography Technologist oversees QA program tasks, ensuring compliance with MQSA and federal requirements (MQSA experience not required).
- The Mammography Technologist performs duties of a staff mammography technologist, ensuring high-quality images.
- Coordinates and organizes daily schedules to prevent delays and accommodate patients and manages staff scheduling to ensure departmental coverage.
- Manages accreditation processes for ACR and FDA, including record keeping and inspections (Accreditation experience not required).
- Maintains mammography-specific policies and procedures.
- Assists in budgeting and long-term planning for mammography.
- Responsible for purchasing supplies for mammography.
- Monitors, maintains, and documents conditions and maintenance of mammography equipment.
- Assists in interviewing, hiring, and training new mammography staff.
- Establishes communication within the department and with other hospital departments.
- ARRT registered with advance qualification in mammography

- This is a full time position, however there is a great focus on work-life balance which allows for flexibility in scheduling.
