Receptionist
Advance Services is looking for a professional and personable receptionist to help out a local company for about 6 months! As the first point of contact, you will help create a positive first impression for clients and visitors.
Job Duties:
Ensure the timely delivery and professional answering of all incoming telephone calls, including the transfer of the caller to the appropriate department/employee.
Assist callers with questions about the company ascertaining the appropriate department or employee to direct them to.
Greet all visitors to the company, and either direct them to the appropriate department of employee or call the appropriate department or employee informing them of the visitor.
Each day obtain the printed invoices from the prior day, separate the invoice into its separate copies and distribute as necessary. This could include mailing the original invoice to the customer and attaching the company copy to shipping documentation.
The receptionist may be asked to perform other duties as specified by the supervisor.
Ensure all bills of lading have been turned in by the drivers. Bills of lading will be scanned into the AS400 and indexed to the appropriate customer order.
Notify affected personnel of any notes and/or discrepancies written on the bills of lading.
Forward COD checks for deposit.
Each day have outgoing mail ready for Post Office deposit by 3:00 pm.
Pay: $16 - $18/HR
Shift: 1st; Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
