SUMMARY: Full time Agronomy Employee with focus on Agronomy support, sales, delivery and custom application
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Include the following and others may be assigned
• Promote sales and service through our Agronomy Division
•Greet people in a friendly and professional manner
•Promote new marketing ideas related to our Agronomy Division
•Review and manage the delivery support team to maximize acres and work closely as a team for customer satisfaction and an excellent cooperative image
• Responsible for the delivery of chemicals, crop nutrients and maintenance of Agronomy assets
•Deliver and custom apply crop production products, nutrients, herbicides and related products on the correct legal descriptions
•Knowledge of legal descriptions and getting the correct inventory applied to the recommendation that is on the spray or spread sheet
•Properly dispose of any crop production products, nutrients and water not applied to target field.
• Maintain custom application equipment, trucks and pickups, keeping them in excellent working condition
•Focus on image of equipment to our customer base
•Maintain equipment to meet safety and DOT requirements
• Keep shrink and/or shortage to a minimum
• Be at work on time and work the scheduled hours
•Wear personal protection equipment for safety
• Notify the Plant Supervisor of any customer complaint or compliance issue
• Cooperate fully with the main business office to maintain accurate information for our customer base
Additional Info:
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Current Commercial Nebraska Department of Agricultural Pesticide Applicator's License
• Current Drivers License or CDL that meets the States requirement for the equipment needed to perform the job requirements
• Bobcat and forklift certification
