POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Our client seeks a talented, hands-on financial leader to oversee and enhance the company's accounting/finance procedures, operating systems, management reporting, and strategic finance efforts.
This role is pivotal in driving financial excellence and supporting the company's growth trajectory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and implement best practices for the accounting/finance department, including automation of payables, invoicing, and month-end processes.
- Support the creation of company and role-based performance measures, that align with current and future business needs while maintaining the company's culture.
- Develop and manage cash flow forecasting and planning processes, with a focus on daily and weekly cash management.
- Supervise and build the accounting/finance department, ensuring the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Aide in the creation of the company s first (and ongoing) annual budget(s) that aligns with the financial objectives of the company s growth plans.
- Lead the integration of ServiceTitan across all aspects of the organization, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization.
- Conduct corporate-level financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, dashboards, metrics, and KPIs.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring appropriate approvals and adherence to company policies.
- Act as a key point of contact for external accountants, tax advisors, and the ownership group, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred but not required.
- 7+ years of accounting/finance experience.
- Experience using ServiceTitan software.
- Experience in the field service industry is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented and hands-on accounting/finance professional with a passion for improving and growing a previously family-owned organization.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
