Qualifications and Skills:
BA/BS (or minor) in Digital and Computational Studies, Computer Science, or related interdisciplinary majors or related fields (e.g., mathematics, science, engineering) Minimum GPA of 3.0
8+ years of demonstrated experience designing and implementing GIS and database solutions
Experience managing and analyzing geospatial environmental datasets, performing requirements analysis, and designing and deploying enterprise applications and web services
Proficient in Oracle Spatial, ArcGIS, Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, and PL/SQL
Experience with Python, JavaScript, and Java
Experience with platforms such as ArcGIS Online, Amazon Web Services, CentOS Linux, Redhat Linux, or Oracle Linux
Experience with source code management tools, such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
Comfortable working in an Agile environment and using Lean/Agile delivery practices
Comfortable presenting recommendations and technical solutions to clients
Has a passion for growing and mastering new skills, keeps up to date withnew tools and techniques, identifies and implements system improvements, and mentors teammates
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
$130,000 - $160,000 a year ERG offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-16 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, 56 hours or more of sick leave (based on the state you work in) per year (pro-rated for part-time) and more.
The salary range for all positions depends on the years and type of experience.
