This operations role is responsible for keeping everything running smoothly. The ideal candidate should be customer service focused, smart, detail oriented, reliable, great with computer software, able to multitask, and friendly/good with people.

And finally you are you are always looking to raise the bar and find ways to do things better or more efficiently.

Responsibilities and Duties

Customer Communication. Understand the Urgency of Each Job, Get parts ordered, technicians scheduled, and most importantly keep customer in the loop on what and when to expect.

Schedule the Right Technician for each Job. Based on the urgency, location, type of equipment, and the technicians who know the facility, pick the best technician for each job.

Hold Technicians Accountable. Make sure what we set out to accomplish on a job was completed. Push to get jobs completed in one visit.

Complete Work. Stay on top of each job until it's finished. Make sure no jobs fall into the cracks. Make sure jobs are finished in the timeframe we have committed to.

Answer Customer Calls. Enter service calls into our software, route inquiries to the appropriate people, screen calls.

Materials Planning. Coordinate and Track Parts Purchases for service jobs. Manage parts purchases and delivery for larger jobs.

Followup. Understand customer expectations, make sure customers get information and quotes when they expect them, follow up to see if they have any questions. Basically help make sure everything gets done on time.

Qualifications and Skills

2+ Years Commercial HVAC Experience. Familiarity with the types of equipment, repair jobs, customers is a must for this job.

Good Written and Verbal Communication. You should be able to write and speak effectively and concisely with good grammar.

Computer Skills. Proficient with most desktop software, including spreadsheets and word processors. Experience with cloud based software. Specific experience with Google Drive and Google Apps, CRM Programs, HVAC Dispatch Programs a plus.

Reliable - Show up for work, on time, every day.
