This position is located in the Gallatin County Fairgrounds and is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, improvements and custodial care of the fairgrounds including all buildings, arenas, grounds, equipment and parking lots.
This position reports to the Fairgrounds Director through the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and does not supervise other county personnel.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities.
Help maintain major and ancillary facilities systems of the County Fairgrounds (e.g., heating, electrical, plumbing, security, etc.) by diagnosing or calling to attention mechanical, operational, and structural problems, or hazards; and completing or coordinating repairs with guidance from the Fairgrounds Director and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
Provide custodial and landscaping services for the County Fairgrounds by conducting routine cleaning, painting, mowing, snow removal, and other services.
Help set-up, clean up, and other maintenance services for Fairground.
