We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facility Maintenance Worker to join our team at Cupples Lofts, a recently renovated 130-unit residential building featuring exposed brick and modern amenities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the building's systems, prepping new apartments, and ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents. Key duties include general building maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and structures, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Prep new apartments via painting, cleaning, patching, etc.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and projects as needed.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
